1. Enrolment
All enrolments are subject to the following conditions, which become legally binding on acceptance of enrolment by Trebinshun House:
- All fees must be paid in full 30 days before the course starts.
- Full fees or the deposit must be paid to Trebinshun House before a place can be reserved.
- Unless payment or proof of payment has been received by Trebinshun House, you will not be admitted to class and will have to leave any accommodation booked through Trebinshun House.
2. Services
In the event of circumstances beyond our control or where the number of bookings received does not reach the minimum number required to operate a course viably, Trebinshun House reserves the right to change services offered, including details of courses, facilities and dates of programmes. Alternatives offered will be of equivalent or greater value than the original booking. Trebinshun House reserves the right to make changes to course arrangements and cancel courses if necessary.
3. Refund policy
If you have to cancel your course, contact us immediately. We will refund fees paid to us or hold them for a future course. However, in the event of late cancellation (10 working days or less before the start date) we will charge a cancellation charge of 1 week's fee.
- A total refund is due when we receive written evidence that a visa application has been rejected.
- There are no refunds if you decide to cut short a course or change from a more expensive course to a cheaper one.
- Subject to the provision of documentary evidence, refunds on tuition may be considered in cases of bereavement or serious illness.
- Trebinshun House reserves the right to charge a booking amendment fee of £50 for changes made during the course.
4. Medical and Travel Insurance
Trebinshun House recommends that you take out travel insurance.
5. Holidays
All public holidays are normal teaching days. Trebinshun House is open from Sunday 8th January 2006 until Saturday 16th December 2007 and from Sunday 6th January 2008 until Saturday 13th December 2008 inclusive.
6. Resolution of disputes
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your course you should contact the Administration Manager or Course Director on site. If the matter is not resolved, you or your agent should write to Trebinshun House's Head Office. Any such complaint will be investigated providing:
- It is received within one month of the termination of the course.
- It was initially registered in writing to the Administration Manager or Course Director.
- All invoices relating to the student making the complaint have been settled in full.
7. Liability
Trebinshun House, its staff and representatives are not liable:
- For any loss, damage or injury to persons or property however caused, except where liability is expressly imposed by law.
- In the event that reasons or causes beyond our control prevent the delivery of any service or programme.
8. Conduct of Students
- You must comply with the directions and follow the rules of each course.
- We reserve the right to expel any student for behaviour which is unacceptable. In this event fees will be forfeited and you will have to pay any consequential travel or other costs.
- You are liable for any damage you may cause, and will have to pay the full cost of replacement or repair.
- Students who are under the minimum age limit of the school will not be admitted and will be asked to return home at their own expense.
9. Statutory rights
Trebinshun House's terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under UK law.
